If it seems that you are having to battle your nitrate problems by doing constant water changes, then this product is what you need to help you win the battle.

You will benefit from this dual chamber sulfur denitrator in more than one way.

    1. First, by keeping your nitrates at zero after break in period without any feeding or drip rates to keep track of.
    2. Second, this denitrator will reduce the amount of calcium that you dose by acting like a calcium reactor as the water exits the sulfur into the second chamber filled with aragonite.  Despite what some may say sulfur denitrators don't cause a low ph effect due to anerobic conditions. They cause a low ph effefluent because in the process of removing nitrates they also lower alkalinity. This ph in turn mimicks a calcium reactor but on a much smaller scale.
    3. Allowing you to feed your larger fish what they need to eat without fearing nitrates.
